MECE Preschool

MECE Preschool is a joyful, church-sponsored community outreach program of First United Methodist Church of Boca Raton. Located in the Life Enrichment Center, MECE serves children ages two through PK-4 in a warm, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment.

Operating Monday through Friday during the school year, the preschool welcomes approximately 130 children and offers a traditional program from 9:00am to 12:00pm, with an extended day option available until 2:00pm for added flexibility for families.

At MECE, children are encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive through engaging, age-appropriate experiences that support both academic development and social-emotional growth in a caring community. Children also participate in a monthly chapel time led by Pastor Matt, where they are introduced to God’s love through simple, meaningful, and joyful moments of worship and teaching.

Chancel Choir

Our Chancel Choir is open to all adults who like to sing! No auditioning is needed. The choir practices one day a week on Thursdays at 7:00pm in the Music Suite. The choir sings every Sunday (except in August) at the 11:00am Traditional Worship Service. The choir is a warm and friendly group of people who are like family to each other. The mission of this musical group is to praise God and share their faith through song.

The Bell Choir

Our Bell Choir is open to anyone – you don’t even need to know how to read music. Practices are one day a week on Thursdays at 6:00pm in the Music Suite. The Bell Choir plays periodically throughout the year at the 11:00am Traditional Service.
